ARTIST 1

KEIRAN CAMPBELL, who was drawn to the cello after he stumbled across one in his grandmother’s basement, began lessons at age 8 in his native Greensboro, North Carolina.  He earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees hat the Juilliard School, with further studies in England.  Keiran has performed with numerous ensembles, including the Boston early Music Festival Orchestra and Les Violins du Roy, to name just two.  He toured Europe performing Beethoven Symphonies before recording them.  Recent performance highlights include concerto appearances with Tafelmusik and Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, as well as a concert of Monteverdi madrigals at Carnegie Hall, and a solo recital with forte pianist Suzi Peskier at the Berkeley Early Music Festivals performances of Handel’s Saul and Solomon with the English concert at the BBC Proms.
