Paul Marleyn

Artistic Director

Cellist Paul Marleyn tours regularly across North America, Europe, and Asia, appearing at major international festivals and collaborating with artists including Joshua Bell, Marc-André Hamelin, Miriam Fried, and members of the Tokyo, St. Lawrence, and Hagen quartets. He has performed as soloist with orchestras including the London Philharmonia, Vancouver Symphony, and Winnipeg Symphony, and is Artistic Director of both the Agassiz Chamber Music Festival and the International Cello Festival of Canada. A former principal cellist of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Paul currently teaches at the University of Ottawa, where he mentors an award-winning studio of young cellists.
